If you don't have plans for Saturday, come down to Yards Park for Tour de Fat. It is a great bicycle festival with music, activities for kids (and kids at heart), food, and beer (for adults, of course).

What is Tour de Fat?
From WABA's website:
Sponsored by New Belgium Brewing, Tour de Fat is a big, whimsical bike festival. It starts with a parade to Yards Park, where attendees can expect a festival jam-packed with entertainment, local vendors, and, of course, New Belgium beer. Costumes are heartily encouraged. Check-in for the parade is at 10 a.m., and the parade starts rolling at 11 a.m. The party at Yards Park runs from 12 to 5 p.m. Tour de Fat is family-friendly---bring your kids! Check back here for news and updates on the great games, entertainment, performances and you can expect at Tour de Fat 2013!
Tour de Fat proceeds will benefit WABA, Black Women Bike DC, Fairfax Advocates for Better Bicycling, the Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts, and Phoenix Bikes.
